Valentine's Day Date Ideas + Outfit Inspo
Valentine's Day is quickly approaching and it's about time you lock down plans for where you and your sweetheart will be enjoying this holiday. Here's a list of dates to try in Los Angeles!
Duh. It's as simple as making a call to your significant other's favorite restaurant or one they've been dying to try for months. If you have no idea, look for a restaurant that's doing a cool special for the holiday. Take Cafe Pinot, for example, it's said to be one of the most romantic restaurants in downtown LA. On the 14th, this restaurant will have a special called the Taste of Love where you can order a three to four course meal.
2. Play/Broadway Show/Musical/Opera
If you and bae love the performing arts then this is the route to go. If you live in LA and Disney is a shared love between you two, the Hollywood Pantages theatre is currently showing Disney's Aladdin! But, if you want to go, get your tickets ASAP!
3. A Downtown Adventure
You don't have to be at a fancy restaurant to make memories on Valentine's Day. A nice walk exploring downtown to see the sights and enjoy each other's company works just fine. If you guys are chocoholics, a cool DTLA tour is the Chocolate Indulgence Tour. On this tour, you'll get to enjoy chocolate tastings from FIVE different locations!
Sure, it's been done before but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. Why not reserve a lane at Lucky Strike Lanes and enjoy a game, food and drinks.
If art exhibits are what you're looking for, then a museum is your perfect match for a date idea. LACMA and The Broad are awesome museums to visit for cool installations. You can both also get cute Instagram-worthy, cutesy pics at The Broad because #relationshipgoals.
6. A Bike Ride
Whether you think this is cheesy or not, a nice bike ride on the beach is an inexpensive way to spend time with your sweet. Rent a bike and ride along Venice beach as the sun sets. If you two are up to it, you can actually bike the 26-mile path from Venice Beach to Santa Monica. Happy biking!
